Herbed Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 2 boneless pork loin chops (1 inch thick and 5 ounces each)
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1/4 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil on both sides. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over pork. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until meat is tender. Yield: 2 servings.
